When I moved to the Netherlands five years ago, I knew absolutely nothing about what to expect. How to look for housing, how to find a doctor, how to set up my banking — even how to get out of the supermarket after buying groceries (scanning receipts isn't a thing where I am from!). Even with the help I had from relocation experts, I found myself still not getting all of the answers I needed in one, succinct place. I vividly remember combing through email after email, trying my best to consolidate details of what I needed to do and when. You shouldn't have to spend hours searching through government websites, expat forums, housing platforms, and scattered articles just to figure out what applies to your situation.

While I have built this site to support through intelligent technology, I am a real person with real experiences. I am always here to answer any question you may not be able to answer through the site itself and I will also be honest if I do not know the answer. Being an expat is a journey that never ends but that is part of the beauty behind this life.

My goal is simple: to help you spend less time figuring things out and more time settling into your new life.
